About Betsy Anding
Attorney Betsy Anding has dedicated her career to the practice of Minnesota family law. She founded Anding Law Office, P.A. in Edina in 1996, with the goal of helping clients in the Greater Twin Cities area through the challenges of divorce, custody, and other family law matters.
Betsy has extensive experience in resolving family law issues through both litigation and alternative dispute resolution, including Collaborative practice. Betsy believes in empowering clients to make the best decisions for themselves and their families by helping them understand their options and the likely financial and emotional costs and benefits of each. She takes pride in getting to know her clients and their needs, and in personally handling every detail of each case she accepts.
Committed to serving the community, Betsy is a regular volunteer at the Hennepin County Legal Access Point, a walk-in clinic where the public can receive brief legal advice from volunteer attorneys and is also an attorney with the Hennepin County Low Fee Family Law Project where she provides low-cost legal services for clients of modest means. Betsy is a member of the Hennepin County Bar Association Oversight Committee for its Lawyer Referral and Information Service, a program designed to connect persons who have legal concerns to one of over 200 private attorneys practicing in over 50 areas of law.
